Historic Sites of Manitoba: Dunham House (181 Rupertsland Boulevard, Winnipeg)

This 1½-storey dark red-brown brick, half timbered and stucco Tudor-style house on Rupertsland Boulevard in West Kildonan (now part of Winnipeg), measuring 26 feet by 28 feet, was built in 1935 for owner Franklin Fletcher “Frank” Dunham (1887-1939). He was a physician operating out of an office in the Scarfe Block.

At the time of a 2016 site visit, the house was relatively unmodified from its original appearance, but at visits in 2024 and 2025, it was slightly modified with the wood timbers pained light blue.
