Historic Sites of Manitoba: Brown House (RM of Morris)

A two-storey residence in the Rural Municipality of Morris was built in 1918 for Harry and Fannie Brown based on a plan purchase from Eatons. Bricks for the construction came from the Leary Brickworks.

In 1907, the Browns had moved their family from Rockford, Illinois to the Sperling area. The house accommodated four generations of the Brown family. The yard also includes a vault-roofed barn dating from 1939.
