Formerly located at the northeast corner of First Street and College Avenue East at Brandon, a one-storey brick building, measuring 95 feet by 145 feet, was designed by engineer J. Antonisen and built in 1913, at a cost of about $20,000, by the Beaver Construction Company. Subcontractors on the project included Wilson and Company (masonry and plastering), Brandon Machine Company (steel and roofing), J. E. Yates (steam heating), Brandon Heating Company (plumbing), and the Brandon Electric Light Company (electrical). The building was used as a carbarn for the Brandon Municipal Street Railway.
It was used until the Brandon Municipal Street Railway was decommissioned in 1932. The building has been demolished and no vestiges of it remains.
