Clare Cook
Linguist, family historian. Clare received her PhD in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia and completed a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of H. C. Wolfart at the University of Manitoba, specializing in the structure of Plains Cree. She wrote The Clause-Typing System of Plains Cree: Indexicality, Anaphoricity, and Contrast. She has taught classes and workshops on Linguistics, Language Pedagogy, Issues in Teaching Native Languages, Structure of Cree, Genealogical Research, and Genetic Genealogy.
