Alan F. J. Artibise

Historian.

A graduate in history from the University of Manitoba, he later taught at Cariboo College in Kamloops, British Columbia. His doctoral thesis at the University of British Columbia was entitled The Urban Development of Winnipeg, 1874-1914. In the 1980s, he was Director of the Institute for Urban Studies at the University of Winnipeg.
