Manitoba Communities: Pierson (Unincorporated Village, Municipality of Two Borders)

This community in southwestern Manitoba was named for Dutch banker Jean L. Pierson (1854-1944) who, in 1882, helped to sell shares of the Canadian Pacific Railway in European markets.
