This 2½-storey wood frame and wood plank siding, Edwardian Queen Anne Revival-style house is on Sherbrook Street in Winnipeg. Measuring 20 feet by 38 feet, it was designed and built in 1906 by contractor Asmundur Petur Johannson at a cost of about $3,500, for owner Baldwin Larus Baldwinson. He was an editor at the Heimskringla News & Publishing Company as well as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba.
Formerly a municipally-designated historic building, it was de-listed in 2010. At the time of a 2017 and 2025 site visits, the house was extensively modified from its original appearance with all of its exterior details having been removed as well as having been converted into a duplex.
