Manitoba Photographers: Chisholm Robert Lundy (1850-1925)

Born in Ontario on 9 August 1850, son of Thomas Lundy (c1820-?) and Catherine Silverthorn (1809-?), he worked as a photographer at Berlin [Kitchener] and Waterloo from 1873 to 1882. He moved to Manitoba and continuing photography work at several places until at least 1909. He and wife Lydia Oberholtzer (1850-?) had seven children: Catharine Jane Lundy (1876-?), Cecil Andrew Lundy (1877-?), Lorella Ola Lundy (1885-1909), Leon Leroy Lundy (1887-1916), Mia Myra Lundy (1888-?), Adre Devere Lundy (1890-?), and Tera Rell Lundy (1896-1924). He died at St. Vital on 15 May 1925 and was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.
