Educator, administrator, farmer.
Born on 18 April 1929, he grew up in the Rosefarm School District. He graduated from the Winkler Bible School and received a MEd degree. He was the Principal of Thames South School (1957-1961), worked in the Mystery Lake School District (?-1968), was Principal of W. C. Miller Collegiate (1968-1973), and Superintendent of the Rhineland School Division (1973-1975). He sold farm equipment at Plum Coulee and farmed with his sons. He and wife Marilyn Toews had five children. He died at the Boundary Trails Health Centre on 11 July 2014.
