Ken Storie

Educator, historian.

Raised in southwestern Manitoba, he graduated from Brandon University and spent many years teaching in Westman communities, including at Ninette School (1975-1976), Melita School (1977-1981), Strathclair School (1982-1985) and Cypress River School (1985-1988). His interest in local history grew out of canoe trips, hikes, and back-road explorations which prompted investigations into the abandoned villages, fur trade posts, and rail lines that he encountered.
