Physician.
Born at Kingston, Ontario in 1877, son of Gilbert and Hanna McGreer, he received BA and medical degrees from Queens University and took postgraduate study at London, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Vienna. He came to Winnipeg in 1905 where he established a general medical practice. On 23 August 1913, he married Elizabeth Loughrin Bathgate (1879-1957) at Winnipeg. They had no children, living at 252 Kennedy Street (c1913) and 830 Grosvenor Avenue (c1957). He was a member of the Scientific Club of Winnipeg. He died at the Misericordia Hospital on 21 February 1966 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
