Educator.
Born in the Rural Municipality of Lorne on 8 March 1898, daughter of Kristin Magnusson (1868-?) and Arni Einarson (1863-?), she lived in the Rural Municipality of Posen (1901) and Rural Municipality of Coldwell (1926), and took teacher training. She taught at Mary Hill School (1921) and was Principal of Ardal School (1926-1927) where she met fellow teacher Elmer Russell Fines (1903-1946, son of Richard A. Fines and sibling of Gordon Richard Fines).
On 15 July 1927, they married at Winnipeg and had five children: Christine Fines, Lavinia Fines, Dorothy Fines, Arlene Fines, and Richard Fines. The family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia around 1940. She died there on 26 April 1943 and was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery.
