Nun, educator.
Born in 1932, daughter of Marie-Anne Sabourin (1898-1962) and Levis Courcelles (1890-1973), she grew up at Ste. Agathe attending Ste. Agathe School and Manitoba Normal School (1954). She taught at St. Hyacinthe School (1954-1957) prior to joining the Filles de la Croix [Sisters of the Cross] in 1957. In August 1964, she pronouned her final vows and adopted the name of Sister Angele Therese. Her career in the classroom spanned 33 years across Saskatchewan and Manitoba, including a return to La Salle as Principal of St. Hyacinthe School / La Salle School (1970-1972). Upon retirement from the classroom, she initially resided in Manitoba before relocating to Saskatchewan to further the Sisters' work at Mankota and Carlyle. She died on 25 June 2021 and was buried in the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Cemetery.
