Merchant.
Born at Roseneath, Ontario on 21 March 1881, son of George Fields Brisbin and Mary Brown, he came to Manitoba at the age of 17 from Peterborough, Ontario, and started in business for himself at Pilot Mound. On 30 September 1903, he married Katie Wilhelmina Playfair (1880-1979), sister of Annie Ferguson Playfair. They had one son, George Walton F. Brisbin. He served as a school trustee, town councillor, and Mayor of Pilot Mound (1917-1918). He was a member of the Social Service Committee, Board of Trade, and United Church. He died at Pilot Mound on 30 April 1957 and was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.
