Bill Neville is an Associate Professor of political studies at the University of Manitoba, regular columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press, an advocate for heritage preservation and has been involved directly in provincial and municipal politics.

This course will look at a number of issues or phenomena which, in one form or another, seem to be ever present in Canadian political life. Some historical context will be provided, focusing on how and why certain issues are such constants as to make our political life difficult to imagine without them. Wherever possible, reference will be made to relevant current issues. It is intended that the sessions be highly interactive and elicit further observations, opinions and arguments from those in attendance.

Pre-registration and course fee is to be submitted to the Manager, University Women's Club at Ralph Connor House.
