MHS Multicultural Dinner 2010: Belgium

 

The Manitoba Historical Society invites you to its 2010 Multicultural Dinner featuring the Belgian community in Manitoba.

Jean-Marie De Clercq, Honourary Belgian Consul for Manitoba and Nunavut, will speak on the history of the Belgian community in Manitoba.

A cash bar opens at 5:30 pm featuring Belgian beers. A four-course dinner follows at 6:30 pm. The Club is open all day and anyone who comes before 5:30 is welcome. After dinner there will be a performance by The Belgian Folk Dancers of Winnipeg.

Enjoy authentic Belgian dishes including leek soup, tossed salad, Belgian beer stew, potatoes, red cabbage with apples, and Belgian chocolate truffle cake.

The cost is $18.00 per person.

A parking lot is available. A city transit bus stops at the front door westbound and across the street eastbound.
