MHS Annual Fundraising Dinner 2020

We regret to announce the postponement of our fundraising dinner, An Evening in Honour of His Imperial Highness Prince Ermias Sahle-Selassie Haile-Selassie due to the COVID-19 outbreak and recommendations by Health Canada and the Government of Canada for social distancing.

The Manitoba Historical Society will provide an update to all ticket holders in the next few weeks regarding a possible new date for the event, and the protocol regarding ticket transfers, and other details. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.

Proceeds of this fundraiser will benefit the work of the Historical Society, western Canada's oldest such organization, founded by provincial legislation in 1879. The Manitoba Historical Society, founded in 1879, is the oldest organization in Western Canada dedicated to preserving our past for future generations. We are able to do this through the efforts of our members and volunteers, and through contributions from the federal, provincial, and municipal governments, and other agencies. We also rely on the generosity of people who are attend this fundraising event.
