MHS Annual General Meeting 2008

When: Saturday, 31 May, 10:30 am

Where: Parish Hall, Church of the Ascension, 291 - First Street West, Stonewall, Manitoba

At the conclusion of the business portion of the meeting, we will have a hot lunch prepared by the church women’s group in the parish hall. After lunch, our guest speaker is Ross Thompson who is the mayor the town of Stonewall. Ross’s presentation will be History, Adversity and Opportunity: Why Ya Gotta Love a Small Town! At the conclusion of the program, those interested will be able to view the interior of the church which was built in 1882.

Stonewall is 22 kilometers from the north Perimeter Highway. Take Highway #7 north for 15 km and turn left [at stop lights] on Highway #67. Because the AGM is outside Winnipeg, those needing transportation or anyone interested in volunteering to drive anyone needing a ride, please contact Carl James at 204-631-5971 and we will try to match drivers and riders.

All MHS members are invited and encouraged to attend our Annual General Meeting as we review the year past, consider the present state of the Society's affairs, and plan for the year ahead. We need your participation!

The cost is $16 per person. Payment must be made in advance. Cheque, Visa and Mastercard accepted.
