Volunteers at Dalnavert Museum

Link to:
Dalnavert Museum | Location | Hours | Admission | Programs | Room Rental | Weddings | Gift Shop | History | Volunteers

The successful operation of Dalnavert is due to a large force of volunteers. Each individual volunteers for his or her own reasons. Some people enjoy the opportunity to meet others to introduce them to one of Winnipeg’s finest heritage attractions. Others like to share the museum with children, while many simply wish to broaden their communication skills.

The volunteer opportunities at Dalnavert Museum include:

  • becoming a tour guide for casual visitors or one of the education programs
  • staffing the Gift Shop and Reception desk
  • performing seasonal cleaning and polishing
  • becoming a member of any one of a number of committees overseeing various components of Dalnavert’s operation
  • doing research on Victorian themes

If you enjoy meeting people and have an interest in putting others in touch with the past please consider volunteering at Dalnavert. All orientation and training is provided by the museum’s staff.

If you would like further information about volunteer opportunities, please contact the staff at Dalnavert Museum.
