Manitoba Historical Society: Events: Prairie Dog Central Heritage Tour

LOCATION: Prairie Dog Central Railway, 64099 Prairie Dog Trail, Rosser, Manitoba R0H 1E0

The Prairie Dog Central Railway is a short line railway owned and operated by the Vintage Locomotive Society Inc. (VLS), and it is one of the oldest regularly scheduled operating locomotive in North America.

Arrive at the Inkster Junction Station located on the Prairie Dog Trail, on the North side of Inkster Boulevard between Sturgeon Road and Route 90 prior to boarding. The train leaves at 10:30 AM sharp, and arrives back in Winnipeg at 2:00 PM.

The day will take you out to Grosse Isle for a Heritage Picnic, which includes sandwiches, chips, and a salad with a light dessert. After lunch, the Grosse Isle Heritage Village Buildings will also be open that day.

Tickets:
$32 each (plus ticketing fee) with an option to include a donation to the MHS with each ticket
