A descendant of a pioneer Manitoba family from Confederation, Ross is a retired High School Teacher of Canadian History, Principal and Superintendent of Schools, all with the Interlake School Division. Currently, he serves on the Manitoba Historical Society's Council and was recently inducted into the Manitoba Motorsport Hall of Fame. Ross is a Past President of the Manitoba Classic and Antique Auto Club and Founder and Life Member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of Manitoba (1977). He is the current President of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, the world's largest club for antique motorcycles.
