Wins Bridgman

“Do we celebrate heritage best with unlikely partnerships?” - Wins Bridgman explores in a series of case studies what happens when multiple partnerships with differing agenda’s participate in the preservation and interpretation of heritage projects.

Award-winning heritage architect, leading community activist and passionate champion of inclusive design and dignity for all. Wins has directed BridgmanCollaborative Architecture since its founding in 1998, and is a registered professional member of the Manitoba Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Wins has received the City of Winnipeg Leadership Award for the Advancement of Accessible Environmental Design and the Heritage Winnipeg Preservation Award for Excellence (Distinguished Service Award). He is also an accomplished visual artist, and served as the professional advisor for the two City of Winnipeg international design competitions City Re-emerging: A Vision for Winnipeg's Historic Waterfront and City Crossing: Portage Avenue and Main Street. BridgmanCollaborative Architecture was the recipient of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Winnipeg in 2019, and the Pinnacle Award by the IDA with the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ Pop-Up Winnipeg Public Toilets in 2019.
