Historic Sites of Manitoba: Sir Winston Churchill Park (150 John Duncan Drive, Winnipeg)

This Winnipeg park commemorates British politician Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965), a pivotal leader in the Allied fight against the Axis powers in the Second World War. In October 2013, a plaque unveiled at this site was dedicated by Deputy Mayor Russ Wyatt (Transcona Ward).
