A wooden grain elevator at Winkler, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision, was built around 1929 by Federal Grain. In the mid-1960s, a second elevator was built beside it and the smaller, older elevator was dismantled and replaced by a modern crib annex. Sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1972, the elevator became its C elevator (1972-1976) then B elevator after the smaller Pool B elevator beside it was demolished in 1976. Closed by Agricore in 2002, the elevator was later demolished.
