Historic Sites of Manitoba: All Saints Anglican Church (1 Railway Street, Whytewold, Dunnottar)

This Anglican church at Whytewold, in the Village of Dunnottar, was designed by Winnipeg architect Victor William Horwood and built in 1922. The interior of the church retains its original flooring, beaverboard walls and ceiling with strapping, pews, doors and fixtures. The former separate parish collapsed in 1972 and was rebuilt as an attached hall.

The church had no Rector until 1941. Instead, Victor Horwood himself was the church’s lay reader. Among the Rectors who subsequently served at All Saints Anglican Church was Rev. J. A. G. Wilson (1941-?).
