Historic Sites of Manitoba: Teeter House (319 Maplewood Avenue, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame house at the northeast corner of Maplewood Avenue and Hay Street in Winnipeg, measuring 26 feet by 30 feet, was designed by local architect/owner George Gaspar Teeter. It was built in 1910 by contractors George W. Kenney and Samuel A. Kenney at a cost of about $5,000. It would serve as Teeter's home from 1910 until 1946.
