Historic Sites of Manitoba: Sugar Point Conservation Monument (RM of Coldwell)

A monument at this site in the Rural Municipality of Coldwell commemorates the Sugar Point conservation project constructed in 1988 by Ducks Unlimited Canada in partnership with the Province of Manitoba, the municipality, and many landowners. The monument was dedicated on 5 May 1989 in memory of Albert Foster (1942-1987), a sportsman and conservationist from Lundar.
