Historic Sites of Manitoba: St. John Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Cemetery (Tyndall, RM of Brokenhead)

This Ukrainian Orthodox cemetery is one of five situated north of Tyndall in the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead. With the exception of St. Michael’s Cemetery, the operation and maintenance of this entire site is managed by the municipality. Burials can be requested at any location on the site, regardless of religious affiliation or cultural background, and there are no longer any signs to aid in historical referencing. A sign in front of St. Michael’s provides contact details only for that portion of the cemetery.
