Historic Sites of Manitoba: St. Anne’s Anglican Church and Cemetery (Poplar Point, RM of Portage la Prairie)

Built in 1859 by William Cockran, St. Anne’s is the oldest log church on the prairies, situated near Poplar Point in the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie. The building, a municipally designated historic site as of 1996, is still used on special occasions. The associated cemetery contains a commemorative plaque for West Poplar Point School.
