Historic Sites of Manitoba: Springfield Pioneer House (Dugald, RM of Springfield)

This wood frame house at Dugald, in the Rural Municipality of Springfield, was built at the former community of Suthwyn, a few miles west of here, in 1886. It was the family residence for Perry and Edith Van Slyck from 1900 to 1945, and was restored, donated, and moved to its present site by Fred and Wyn Van Slyck in 1984.
