Historic Sites of Manitoba: Smith House (500 Jefferson Avenue, Winnipeg)

This 2½-storey wood frame and stucco house on Jefferson Avenue in West Kildonan (now part of Winnipeg), measuring 24 feet by 34 feet, was built in 1912 for owner Frank Smith, a teamster at the Manitoba Cartage and Warehousing Company.

At the time of a 2025 site visit, the house was slightly modified from its original appearance.
