Historic Sites of Manitoba: Smith Court (79 Smith Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick apartment block on Smith Street in Winnipeg was designed by local architect Victor William Horwood and built in 1912 by contractor Jon Tryggvi Bergman at a cost of about $55,000. The 96 foot by 42 foot building contained 20 apartments in its original configuration.
