A monument in the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West, erected by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, commemorates arborist Frank Leith Skinner, a person of national historic significance. Another plaque was erected by the Historic Sites Advisory Board of Manitoba.
