Formerly located on Dufferin Avenue in Winnipeg, a two-storey brick building, measuring 33 feet by 46.9 feet by 47.8 feet, was designed by local architect Johann “John” Schwab. It was built in 1905 by the Western Cooperative Construction Company for owner Bernard Shragge at a cost of a $4,500. In its original configuration, the building contained two retail spaces on the main floor and three residential apartments on the second floor.
The building has been demolished and no vestige of it remains at the site today.
