Historic Sites of Manitoba: Seaforth Cottage (72 North Lake Street, Gimli, RM of Gimli)

The original owner of this cottage in Gimli bought it around 1916 when the structure was still being built. In part, the cottage was used as a hunting retreat for the owner and his friends. Simple and straightforward in design, the cottage has a distinctive main door canopy.
