Historic Sites of Manitoba: Sasaginnigak Fire Tower (Sasaginnigak Lake, Atikaki Provincial Park)

Fire lookout towers were once commonly used to watch for forest fires in Manitoba but most of them have been removed. One of the last towers to remain standing is found beside Sasaginnigak Lake in Atikaki Provincial Park.
