This 1½-storey wood frame, wood plank and wood shingle siding, Craftsman Cottage-style house is on Salter Street in Winnipeg. Measuring 20 feet by 36 feet, and 10 feet by 10 feet, it was built in 1911 by contractor Jacob John Missler at a cost of about $1,675, for owner Frank Franz Resch (1877-1950). He was a shoemaker who operated a shop on Stadacona Street, and great grandfather of Darryl Resch.
At the time of a 2020 site visit, the house was slightly modified from its original appearance with its wood plank siding replaced with stucco.
