Historic Sites of Manitoba: Pysanka Monument (Brandon Avenue, Portage la Prairie)

This monument in the shape of a decorative Ukrainian egg (pysanka) in Island Park at Portage la Prairie commemorates the centenary of Ukrainian settlement in Canada. It was dedicated by the Ukrainian community of Portage on 26 September 1993.
