Historic Sites of Manitoba: J. P. Bend Memorial Rink (Poplar Point, RM of Portage la Prairie)

Built in 1949 as one of the first enclosed ice rinks in rural Manitoba, this facility in Poplar Point in the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie commemorates businessman and coach Jack Bend. It is a municipally designated heritage building as of 2002.
