Historic Sites of Manitoba: Plumas Pioneers Monument (Plumas, Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone)

A fieldstone cairn beside a sports facility at Plumas, in the Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone, was unveiled on 31 July 1976 to honour pioneers of this area. Nearby is a plaque presented in 2004 to the Plumas/Lansdowne Agricultural Society by Rosanna Wowchuk (Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives) and Gary Doer (Premier of Manitoba) for the 100th anniversary of the organization.
