Historic Sites of Manitoba: Steam Locomotive No. 30 (Powerview-Pine Falls)

Locomotive #30 was built in 1922. Brought to Pine Falls by Edgar Vincent in 1954, it functioned until 1963, the last steam engine operating daily in western Canada. The locomotive stands as a stoic reminder of the Pine Falls Paper Mill. In 2017, it was restored to its original condition to honour local history as part of the Canada 150 festivities.
