Formerly located at the northeast corner of Railway Street North and Broadway Avenue in Pilot Mound, in the Municipality of Louise, a three-storey brick and stone building, measuring 50 feet by 120 feet, was built between 1903 and 1904 for hotelier William W. Shore (?-?). In its original configuration, the main floor contained a beer parlour, kitchen, and dining room, while the upper two floors contained bedrooms.
In 1912, the hotel was purchased by A. E. Boone (?-?). Closed during the Great Depression, in 1934 it was purchased by Arthur Henry Gibbs (1872-1941) and renamed the Queen’s Hotel. Later know as the Pilot Mound Hotel, the building was demolished.
