Historic Sites of Manitoba: Newcastle Apartments (303 Assiniboine Avenue, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Assiniboine Avenue in Winnipeg was designed and built in 1929 by owner Viglundur Andrjesson Davidson at a cost of about $100,000. The 64 foot by 123 foot structure contained 34 suites in its original configuration. It contains 36 apartments today.
