Historic Sites of Manitoba: Muck Car Monument (Lakeshore Drive, Snow Lake)

This yellow machine, an outdoor display of the Snow Lake Mining Museum, is a muck car. It was used to carry 40 cubic feet of broken rock (“muck”) on 24-inch wide tracks from site to site at a mine.
