Historic Sites of Manitoba: Moore House (187 Montrose Street, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame house on Montrose Street in Winnipeg was built in 1914 as an investment property for the Sprague Lumber Company. It was occupied by grain company executive Ralph H. Moore (1880-1963) and his family from the early 1920s to the mid-1940s, after which it was occupied by automobile dealer Charles Dufferin Roblin (1892-1973; father of Dufferin Roblin).
