Historic Sites of Manitoba: Mitchler Family Monument (Waldersee, Municipality of Glenella-Lansdowne)

A monument along Highway #261 near Waldersee in the Municipality of Glenella-Lansdowne was dedicated on 3 August 2013 by members of the Mitchler family. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the arrival of Heinrich and Anna Mitchler on their homestead at SW28-18-12W in June 1913.
