This 1½-storey wood frame and shingle sided house at the southwest corner of Perth Avenue and Jones Street in West Kildonan (now part of Winnipeg), measuring 24 feet by 36 feet, was built in 1917 by carpenter George Milne (1882-1941). He lived here until his accidental death.
At the time of a 2025 site visit, the house was extensively modified from its original appearance.
