This two-storey pre-cast concrete block building at the northeast corner of Dollard Boulevard and Rue Aulneau in the St. Boniface area of Winnipeg, measuring 20 feet by 28 feet, was built in 1911 for grocers Rosalie Mesnage and Valentine Mesnage. It was used initially as a neighbourhood grocery store with a residence for the Mesnages on the second floor.
At the time of a December 2025 site visit, the building was relatively unmodified from its original appearance. A small one-storey addition had been made on its west side and the entire building was in use as a private residence.
