A 50,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Medora, on the CPR Napinka Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Brenda-Waskada, was built in 1928 by the Manitoba Pool Elevators. A balloon annex built beside it in 1951 increased the capacity to 125,000 bushels and a crib annex added to the other side of the elevator in 1967 increased it to 177,200 bushels. A new scale and office were added at the same time.
The balloon annex was demolished in 1984. The elevator and crib annex were demolished in 2002.
