Historic Sites of Manitoba: McGee Block (600 McGee Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick apartment block on McGee Street in Winnipeg was designed by S. Sigfusson and constructed in 1909 by J. L. Halgrimsson for owner Johannes M. Sveinsson at a cost of $18,000. The 58 by 32 foot building contained 14 apartments.
